El Maratón de Filadelfia traerá a la zona cientos d emiles de espectadores y deportistas por lo que se gestionaron cierres de carreteras en partes de la zona.
En esta edición del evento AACR Philadelphia, Dietz & Watson Half Marathon, Dunkin' Munchkin Run y Rothman 8K races se dividirán en dos días de actividades. Las mismas arrancarán desde las 7:00 a.m. el Museo de Arte de Filadeldia y 22nd Street hasta el Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
El medio maratón iniciará a las 7:30 a.m., el 8k a las 10:45 a.m. y el Munchkin Run a las 11:00 a.m. Todos el sábado.
El equipo de #PrimeraAlerta de Telemundo 62 estará vigilando el pronóstico y augura que los espectadores podrán esperar lo siguiente:
- El sábado las temperaturas estarán por encima del promedio, un poco cálidas en los 50 grados, a partir de las 10:00 a.m. Habrá posibilidad de aguaceros mayormente en la tarde. Sin embargo se prevé vientos entre las 10 a 20 millas por hora.
- El domingo no habrá lluvia, pero las temperaturas se mantendrán frescas. La máxima estará en los 40 grados.
Las festividades están previstas para iniciar el viernes con FREE Health & Fitness Expo, donde cada uno de los participantes podrá recoger su número y paquete de inscripción desde las 9:00 a.m. en el Pennsylvania Convention Center. Esta actividad operará el sábado de 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
La mejor manera de evitar problemas en el tránsito debido al evento es utilizar transportación pública SEPTA. La agencia estará reubicando sus rutas de autobuses y tranvías. Aquí puedes ver los cambios...
